Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Wond3rCard ("Wond3rCard," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our website, digital business card platform, dashboard, and physical NFC card products (together, the "Service"). It applies to both people who create a Wond3rCard account and people who simply view a card someone has shared with them.
1. Information We Collect
Account and profile information: name, email address, password, job title, company, profile photo, and the contact details, social links, and branding you choose to add to your digital card.
Order and shipping information: for physical NFC card orders, we collect your shipping address and payment details. Payment card numbers are processed directly by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
Usage and analytics data: when a card is viewed, shared, saved to contacts, or a link on it is clicked, we log the event, timestamp, approximate location, and device/browser type so we can show you engagement analytics for your own cards.
Connections you save: if you save or exchange details with someone through the "share back" feature, that contact information is stored in your connections list.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account and digital cards;
- To render and serve your card to anyone you share it with;
- To process subscription billing and physical card orders, including shipping and customer support;
- To provide the analytics and connections features of your dashboard;
- To send you service-related communications, such as billing receipts, order updates, and security notices;
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues; and
- To comply with our legal obligations.
3. Sharing Your Digital Card
A core part of the Service is sharing: any information you add to a digital card is, by design, visible to anyone who scans its QR code, taps its NFC card, or opens its shareable link. You control what appears on each card, and you can update or remove information at any time — changes apply immediately for anyone viewing it afterward. Do not add information to a card that you do not want to be publicly viewable by anyone with that card's link.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect parts of the Service, such as staying signed in.
5. How We Share Information
We share personal data only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Service, such as hosting, payment processing, and shipping/fulfillment partners for physical cards, bound by contractual confidentiality obligations;
- Other users you choose to share your card with, or who share their card with you;
- Legal and safety purposes, if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wond3rCard, our users, or the public; and
- A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same protections described in this policy.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and card data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, order and billing records).
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Most of this can be done directly from your account settings; for anything else, contact [email protected].
If you are in Nigeria, these rights are provided consistent with the Nigeria Data Protection Act. If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, they are provided consistent with the GDPR / UK GDPR. If you are a California resident, they are provided consistent with the CCPA.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Data Transfers
We currently operate in and ship physical cards to Nigeria and the United States, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect.
12. Contact Us
Questions about this Privacy Policy or your personal data can be sent to [email protected]. See also our Terms of Service.
